The Karmann Ghia is one of the coolest cars on the road today. Built off the beetle platform with styling by Italy's design house Ghia and built by Germany's coachbuilding house Karmann in conjunction with VW from '55 to '74 with rear mounted engine they were called the poor man's Porsche for decades but are greatly desirable and expensive now.
